Dude! I must've called you a HUNDRED TIMES that weekend! Okay, well, like three, but I did call you, and texted you, and never could get you. It made me sad.

Amen, Lucas. I couldn't have said it better myself. OKC may have its issues, but those aren't them, and that makes me happy to stay here for now.

I think the wardrobe comes with the Dalitude. Ya' know - irritating, smug, materialistic. This is what happens to a city when you tear down the Bronco Bowl to build a Home Depot.

I really hate to break this to you but I am going to anyway. Yes, it's back- in all it's 1985 glory- preppy is here, along with leggings, and a number of other frightening blasts from the "should-have-stayed-in-the-fashion-past" category. So go ahead, get a pink polo shirt and nautical sweater, flip up that collar and tie that sweater around your shoulders. I dare you. In the meantime, I am going to dig out some walking shorts and argyle knee socks.

Dallas has always been a "you are who you wear" city. It may be the most preppy but it is certainly the most superficial!

Ok, I'm officially jealous. When Hubby and I lived in Chicago, we went to IKEA or The Container Store almost every weekend. Still got my dressers, btw.

I worked 25 hours between Friday, Saturday, and Sunday...freakin' opening weekend here in Cincinnati. Oh well.
