I made him sleep on the back porch while I was doing this because he'd have ended up with paint all over him. The blue lights are a little frat-house-ish; it's almost impossible to use those things indoors and not have it look tacky. Still, I'm okay with it for now. My main reason for using them is that I hate the light that comes from my ugly ceiling fan, and the light from the floor lamp isn't enough. We'll see how it looks when the new IKEA fixture gets in.
