117 - Mya

In Ireland they told us, “If someone has sinned against you, tell them.” Everyone went for Mya. I felt grievously wronged, but decided she’d had enough.

You know, it wasn’t any one thing in particular; it was a bunch of stuff. She kind of just belittled me a lot. She was a very nice, kind person at times, but without meaning to she really hurt my feelings on several occasions and seemed to go out of her way from time to time to make me feel left out or inadequate. Honestly, much of it was probably just as much of my insecurity as her actions, but I felt we should’ve had a conversation about it.

Apparently, however, she had also wronged several other people on our team, and after about six or seven of them took her outside to confront her about it, I just felt like the more compassionate thing to do would just be to let it go.
