Ten Albums I Would Take on a Deserted Island… also, moving….

Brian and I are moving this week, so we have been listening to a lot of music to ease the nerves. Here are ten albums I would take on a deserted island. This isn’t a definitive list, and I certainly hope that if the island scenario presents itself, perhaps in the form of my very own reality TV show, I get to take more than ten, because - clearly - there are omissions here. But here are ten. Not in order. Possibly erroneous. I am just doing this to take a breather from packing. 1. Vertical Horizon, Running on Ice 2. U2, The Hits 1980-1990 3. K.C. Clifford, Times Like These 4. Bruce Hornsby and the Range, The Way It Is 5. Mary Chapin Carpenter, Stones in the Road 6. Rich Mullins, A Liturgy, A Legacy, and a Ragamuffin Band 7. David Wilcox, Home Again 8. David Gray, White Ladder 9. Scissor Sisters, Scissor Sisters 10. The Postal Service, Give Up Again, please do not consider this a definitive list. It’s just a thought. And God, pray that this never happens to me, as I am not well enough to survive on my own on a deserted island, much less to rig up some kind of solar-powered, coconut CD player with which to listen to all this music.
